This course is designed to teach students the fundamental brush strokes used in painting. Course Objectives:

Impasto technique for building thick layers of paint

Week 4: Exploring Line and Shape
Contour lines and outlines using various brush sizes
Creating shapes and forms with different brush strokes

Week 5: Techniques for Blending and Layering

Week 6: Specialized Brush Strokes
